Role of the student in vocational placement agreements
Students themselves (or their parent/guardian where the student is under the age of 18) have certain roles and responsibilities in respect of a vocational placement agreement. Students (or their parent/guardian) must:
- sign the vocational placement agreement
- negotiate and sign the training plan for the vocational placement
- comply with reasonable directions given by the employer
- be informed on the provisions of the Vocational Education, Training and Employment Act 2000.
