Role of the employer in vocational placement agreements
Employers have certain roles and responsibilities in respect of a vocational placement agreement. Employers must:
- sign the vocational placement agreement
- negotiate and sign the training plan for the vocational placement
- ensure the health and safety of the student on the vocational placement
- be informed on the provisions of the Vocational Education, Training and Employment Act 2000.
