The Centre for Training Materials (CTM) is a business area operating within the Department of Education and Training that licences publicly developed training materials and makes available a variety of free downloadable resources to support the delivery of training package qualifications.

Transition and mapping guides
Free transition/mapping guides are available for most training packages to assist trainers, assessors and administrators in implementing training packages.

New or revised mapping guides (from 16 May 2008) will be redeveloped and retitled as Transition Guides.

Accredited course updates (curriculum updates)
The National Training Information Service (NTIS) is the official national register of information on accredited courses, qualifications, Training Packages, units of competency and registered training organisations, and it has been developed by federal and state governments to provide access to current and emerging training market information and products in vocational education and training.
NTIS provides information on updates and extensions made to accredited courses licensed by the Centre for Training Materials. Information is available for courses owned by TAFE Queensland, the Queensland Department of Education and Training, other Queensland Government departments and private training organisations that are licensed through the Centre.
