Extension: renewal of a course without amendment
A short period of renewal is approved if the training needs of an industry sector will be covered by a training package, or revisions to an existing package, in the near future. A fee is payable to the Queensland Department of Educatino, Training and the Arts when submitting an application for renewal for a short term extension without amendment.

The fee is non-refundable once evaluation of the submission for renewal has commenced.

The following documentation is required:
- Application for renewal of an accredited course - extension (Form FM-ACC3-Ext) [PDF 101kb]
- a detailed explanation as to why the renewal is required, including evidence of consultation with industry representatives
- the application fee (please see the Accrediation Fees factsheet [PDF 54kb] )
Submissions should be forwarded to the accreditation team at least three months before the expiry date of the accredited course.
