Accreditation of a new course

Stage four - rectification cycle

Stage four provides an opportunity for course developers to amend or rectify the course following its evaluation by the accreditation team.

The course developer will receive a rectification table identifying areas that require clarification and/or additional development. A standard timeframe of up to 20 working days is allowed for required changes.

Two formal rectification cycles will be permitted within each application.

Where the course does not meet the Australian Quality Training Framework and Australian Qualification Framework standards after two rectification cycles, or where the applicant does not submit a revised course within the rectification timeframe (20 days per cycle), the application will be refused.

The Training Recognition Council will provide an information notice to developers whose applications are refused, explaining why the application for course accreditation was not approved.
