Stage three - course evaluation
Stage three involves evaluating the course for compl ian ce with the Training and Employment Act 2000, and the Austral ian Quality Training Framework Guidelines for Course Developers 2003. The course will also be assessed against the Austral ian Qualifications Framework requirements.
The accreditation team will closely examine the industry/enterprise/community validation provided through the course development advisory committee declaration. The team will also consider the proposed course structure, including the rationale for the proposed Australian Qualifications Framework qualification level.
Where necessary, additional information will be sought from the course developer.
Where phases one and two have been completed, the next phase (rectification) may not be required.
Wherever possible, the accreditation team will endeavour to finalise applications within 20 working days from the receipt of the complete, correct, final (revised if necessary) application.
