Accreditation of a new course

Stage one - course consultation

The first stage of accreditation involves research and consultation. It is the responsibility of the course developer to establish an industry, industry sector, enterprise and/or a community need for the course, prior to developing a course concept proposal.

Course developers need to undertake preliminary research, to ensure that no suitable endorsed training package units exist.

Where no suitable accredited course can be accessed through a licensing arrangement either, a course concept proposal can be submitted. Complete the Course concept proposal (FM-ACC4) [PDF 47kb] form.
