About course accreditation

Course accreditation is a structured sequence of vocational education and training that leads to an Australian Qualifications Framework qualification or statement of attainment.

Accredited courses are nationally recognised and are listed on the National Training Information Service website.

A comprehensive list of accreditation definitions is included in the Australian Quality Training Framework 2007 Standards for Accredited Courses. [PDF 168kb]
