Australian Quality Training Framework Resources

• Australian Quality Training Framework Standards for Registered Training Organisations [PDF 145kb] - this framework has been agreed by all commonwealth, state and territory ministers and sets down the quality requirements for registration as a registered training organisation.
• Choosing a consultant checklist [PDF 174kb] - Use this checklist if you are considering using a consultant to assist you with the registration and compliance requirements associated with becoming a registered training organisation.
• Evidence Guide for Registered Training Organisations and Auditors [PDF 373kb] - This document details types of evidence that demonstrate compliance with standards and includes a self-assessment guide.
• Fair go in training for people with a disability: Meeting your Australian Quality Training Framework obligations [PDF 902kb] - a guide for trainers in meeting Australian Quality Training Framework obligations in relation to people with a disability.
• Frequently asked questions about language, literacy and numeracy issues in the Australian Quality Training Framework - this resource will help registered training organisations to understand how language, literacy and numeracy fit into the delivery of quality training and assessment, as required by standards 6.3, 8.1 and 9.
• Guide to Good Practice in AQTF auditing [PDF 149kb] - for auditors and managers of audits, this document provides auditing strategies.
• Partnership Checklist for Registered Training Organisations [PDF 80kb] - this checklist has been developed to assist registered training organisations in their decision to form a partnership with another organisation for the provision of training and/or assessment on its behalf and in understanding their obligations under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).
• The crux of the matter: vocational language, literacy and numeracy and the Australian Quality Training Framework 2007 - has been adapted from 'Understanding and applying vocational language, literacy and numeracy within the Australian Quality Training Framework' published by the Queensland Department of Employment and Training in 2002.
