Registration fees
Application Fees
An organisation wishing to lodge an application for registration is required to pay the prescribed application fee. Application fees are levied by the department in order to maintain the system that monitors and encourages continuous improvement in the delivery of quality vocational education and training.
Fees [PDF 81kb] apply to all applications:
-
initial registration
-
extension to scope of registration
-
renewal of registration.
Annual registration fee
Fees are subject to annual review in line with the Consumer Price Index and are adjusted at the commencement of each financial year. Each year registered training organisations are required to pay an annual registration fee.
The fee is charged at the commencement of the financial year and is calculated based upon the size of an organisation's scope of registration. Download the Guide [DOC 157kb] and Annual Registration Fee fact sheet [PDF 74kb] for full details.
Audit fees
Standard monitoring compliance audits do not attract a fee. However certain compliance audits, such as a compliance audit following complaint where the complaint is substantiated, will attract a fee of $122.10 per hour or part of the hour plus reasonable travel costs and other expenses.
A full schedule of audit fees is contained within the Vocational Education, Training and Employment Regulation 2007 at http://www.legislation.qld.gov.au/Acts_SLs/Acts_SL.htm
