Changes to your organisations' ownership name, legal name or any contact details
Registration as a registered training organisation cannot be transferred, sold or otherwise assigned to another legal entity or organisation. This is because registration is granted on the basis of specific assurances that the organisation will comply with the suitability requirements of the Vocational Education, Training and Employment Act 2000 and the Australian Quality Training Framework.
The Change of Organisational Status Policy [PDF 72kb] provides direction for registered training organisations who wish to sell their business, or that have undergone a significant change to the legal status of their organisation.
The Change of details form [Word 160kb] can be used by your organisation to advise Registration Services of changes to your organisation's details. Throughout the period of registration, if any details change in regard to your organisation's legal name, trading name, responsible person, daily contact officer or business address/contact details, please complete the attached form and fax it to Registration Services.
