Apprenticeship and traineeship statistics

The Queensland Department of Employment and Training makes statistical information on apprenticeships and traineeships freely available to all interested parties.

You can view the statistics request form definitions before requesting statistics online. This document will assist you in identifying and defining the parameters of your request.

To request statistics you can complete a statistical request online, or download a copy of the Statistics fax request form [PDF 111kb].

Australian Quality Training Framework Industry Resource Kits

Training Package resources

Resources relating to training packages and industry licensing in Queensland are available online. Resources relating to recent changes to training packages and course accreditation are also available.

Training Plan resources

During the probationary period for an apprenticeship or traineeship, the employer, the apprentice or trainee, and their supervising registered training organisation, must negotiate and sign a training plan. The training plan reflects the milestones for progression towards achievement of each competency, and the agreed position on what constitutes reasonable progress by the apprentice or trainee.
