Australian National Training Authority Ministerial Council
(ANTA MINCO) A body comprised of the Commonwealth, State and Territory Ministers responsible for vocational education and training, that decides national policy, objectives and priorities for vocational education and training.

Australian National Training Authority
The Australian National Training Authority (ANTA) is a statutory authority providing a national focus for vocational education and training.

Minister for Education and Training and Minister for the Arts
The Hon Rod Welford MP, Minister for Education and Training and Minister for the Arts.

Ministerial Council of Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs
(MCEETYA) A body comprised of State, Territory, Commonwealth and New Zealand Ministers with responsibility for the portfolios of education, employment, training and youth affairs, with Papua New Guinea and Norfolk Island having observer status.

Training and Employment Recognition Council
The Training and Employment Recognition Council replaced the State Training Council and the Accreditation Council and provides advice to the Training and Employment Board.

New apprenticeships centres
New apprenticeships are a national initiative for competency-based apprenticeships and traineeships that combine practical experience with industry-designed training to help young people achieve nationally-recognised qualifications in their chosen industries.

TAFE institutes
TAFE institutes are the largest provider of post-secondary education in Queensland. Courses are available through 15 institutes with traditional, online and distance learning programs.

Group training organisations
Group training organisation are not-for-profit entities established predominately to provide training and employment opportunities. Group training organisations employ apprentices and trainees and are responsible for ensuring that those employees receive suitable training and experience.

Agricultural colleges
The agricultural colleges of Queensland are distinguished by their extensive cropping and livestock operations and comprehensive range of facilities, machinery and equipment. The network of four colleges offers a range of nationally recognised courses to suit the varied agricultural and livestock enterprises across Australia.

Other registered training organisations
Registered training organisations provide students with training that results in qualifications and statements of attainment that are recognised and accepted by industry and other registered training organisations throughout Australia.
