Floods affect TAFE and AACC start times in Central Queensland

Devastating flooding in Central Queensland has impacted on planned semester one start dates for Australian Agricultural College Corporation (AACC) Emerald campus.

AACC students attending AACC in Emerald are advised that Semester 1, 2008 will now commence on Wednesday 6 February due to recent flooding in the area and efforts of campus staff to provide emergency accommodation and food to affected residents.

For more up-to-date information, staff and students are encouraged to ring the campus on (07) 4982 8777 or email emerald@aacc.edu.au.

For TAFE students, the Emerald office has re-opened.

Staff and students can get up-to-date information, including confirmation of training schedules at Emerald TAFE by phoning 1300 CQ TAFE (1300 27 8233).
