The Queensland Department of Education, Training and the Arts provides specialist research into Queensland labour market behaviour and trends. The department also enters into collaborative arrangements with key research centres from government, industry and academia to undertake research and analytical activities. This research and analysis provides an evidence base for the development of strategic policy and continuous improvement in the quality of employment and training in Queensland.
