Indigenous programs, strategies and policies

The department is assisting Indigenous people in Queensland to achieve their education, training and employment goals for their own and their community's development and economic prosperity. The department's programs, policies and strategies that support Indigenous Queenslanders are part of a larger whole-of-government effort to overcome the disadvantages faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in comparison to other Queenslanders.
